The move of both companies means that the business park, consisting of phases 1 to 6, is now fully let.

Construction work on the park extension (phase 7) began back in October. A total of 27,500 m² of small and medium-sized commercial space consisting of 20 light industrial and urban logistics units will be built. The areas have between 1,000 m² and 2,400 m².  Phase 7 will be completed in December 2025.

Tim Rosenbohm, Director Development Light Industrial at SEGRO in Germany, says:

“With the expansion of our SEGRO Park Berlin Airport, we are responding to the continued high demand for modern, flexible and sustainable commercial space.”

In line with SEGRO's commitment to low-carbon growth, all properties at SEGRO Park Berlin Airport have been awarded DGNB Gold sustainability certificates. DGNB Platinum is the target for the new Phase 7. In addition to green roofs and façades and the use of wooden trusses, charging stations for electric vehicles are available to every SEGRO customer. In addition, a photovoltaic system with a peak output of almost one megawatt has been installed, the electricity from which is also offered to tenants so that they can reduce their own CO2 consumption and energy costs. To create a healthy ecosystem, beehives, insect hotels and nesting boxes for native birds have been installed on the site.

SEGRO Park Berlin Airport is located in the immediate vicinity of the capital's Berlin-Brandenburg Airport. The park is located directly on the B 96a and offers optimal access to the highway network via the A 113 and A 117.
