Global E-commerce Experts is an e-commerce player, specialized in management services that support business growth. SIAN Wholesale is a logistics service provider in the field of FMCG. As of November, both parties will be renting warehouse units of approximately 1,900 m2.

The SEGRO Logistics Center on Rijnlanderweg offers both companies the solution they were looking for: a building in a park with ample facilities and the possibilities to expand in the future. A central location that has excellent connections with the rest of Europe and is located near Schiphol, which contributes to optimal transport to customers.

Andy Hooper, CEO, Global Ecommerce Experts:

"We were specifically looking for locations in Europe where we could expand our business. The Netherlands is a very important base for us, because it provides the infrastructure we need to the rest of Europe. This warehouse on Rijnlanderweg is for us the perfect addition to our existing business. We are looking forward to a fruitful collaboration and exciting new developments in the Netherlands.”

Rudolf Fourie, General Manager, SIAN Wholesale:

“In preparation for Brexit, SIAN Wholesale has expanded its activities to the Netherlands. With a physical location for both personnel and goods within the EU, we can continue to optimally serve our European customers. This is crucial for us, as this market is a third of our turnover. We are very happy with the location on the Rijnlanderweg, which provides us with high-quality real estate, good facilities and excellent accessibility. We look forward to further growing within Europe from this new location!"

Eelco Ouwerkerk, Head of SEGRO Netherlands:

“We are happy to welcome SIAN and GEE as new customers in the Netherlands. Due to, among other things, the continuous coordination within our international SEGRO network, we have a good overview of the needs in the market. The strategic location of the units on Rijnlanderweg, in combination with the specific dimensions and the facilities available, enables us to respond well to the wishes of new parties from the UK. We are going for good cooperation in the coming years.”

SEGRO was commercially advised by JLL and Bridgegap in the agreements with GEE and SIAN.
