The EXCELLENT mark with a score of 76.7% is so far one of the best results among all SEGRO's assets in Central Europe, which only confirms the growing quality and effectiveness of this developer's environmentally friendly solutions.

The Tamda Foods building in SEGRO Logistics Park Prague in Hostivice is a prime example of SEGRO's development project, which is tailored to the individual needs of the customer. BREEAM certification at the EXCELLENT level is proof not only that the building has less impact on the environment, but also that it brings long-term savings to customers.

Among all the categories assessed under BREEAM certification, the Tamda development project received the highest ratings in management, water, waste, energy and pollution. During the construction, maximum attention was paid to waste recycling. Thanks to the internal zone lighting designed according to the layout of the building and the use of individual spaces in offices and halls, artificial lighting is used only minimally, which also brings significant energy savings. All indoor and outdoor lighting is provided by energy-efficient LED luminaires. In addition, the water-using elements of the building are set to economy mode, which leads to an improvement of 56% compared to the basic water consumption in the building. The gas boiler used for office heating and water treatment is characterized by very low energy consumption and in combination with strong thermal insulation above the requirements of the standard produces a minimum of emissions. To protect biodiversity, insect hotels have been installed on grasslands to provide shelter for butterflies and bumblebees.

It should be emphasized that the BREEAM standard does not focus only on the ecological values of a building. Factors that are subject to rigorous certification include facility management, employee comfort, and innovation. When designing the Tamda Foods building built in SEGRO Logistics Park Prague in Hostivice, all these elements were taken into account in accordance with the concept of sustainable development. We believe that the effectiveness of our proposed solutions will be an added value for our customers , says SEGRO development manager David Plzak .

The modern Class A warehouse designed for Tamda Foods is located in the SEGRO Logistics Park Prague complex in the Czech Republic. The building with an area of 24,100 m2 consists of storage and office space on the ground floor and mezzanine. The building is located near the railway station Hostivice located on the main line from Prague to Kladno, so in terms of public transport it has an ideal location.

The Vietnamese company Tamda Foods sells food in the form of "cash & carry", but it also operates as a wholesale company. The building serves not only as a warehouse, but also as a company e-shop. About 50 people work on the site.
